A New Paradigm for Transforming Orphans and Communities.
150 million children live on the streets because of poverty, neglect and abuse.
More than 17 million will starve to death this year.
Heroes of the Nation is answering the plight of AIDS orphans in Africa. The HTN mission is to rescue orphans and empower them to become leaders. Our growing orphanage is the largest in Kenya, currently housing and educating over 500 children.

The Heroes Distinction

In a time when the HIV/AIDS pandemic threatens to destroy the health, social structure, and economy of many African nations, international relief organizations have responded to Africa's urgent cries for help. Heroes of the Nation is responding to the need of Kenya's orphans, rescuing abandoned and orphaned children from poverty, abuse and premature death.

Instead of merely feeding and clothing children, Heroes seeks to develop and raise up the next generation of leaders. This is accomplished through instilling identity, creating self-sufficient communities, teaching social justice, and emphasizing an excellent education and leadership training.
