The HTN campus has changed a lot since its humble beginnings in one grass hut! We now have multiple buildings including: a new kitchen, dorms, medical center, and more. We also drilled our own well, and installed our own water filtration system. Check out these pictures from around our campus!

The children at HTN are incredible kids! Browse through this gallery to catch just a glimpse of the life these kids exude. The photos were taken by a photographer friend who “stylized” the photos for posters that HTN made. Many of these posters are now on the HTN office wall, to focus our minds on the reason we work- to bring more hope to more kids on the streets of Kenya!

Hundreds of kids have been saved from a life on the streets through the work of HTN! These kids are learning how to change their identities from being orphans, to being the next leaders of their country!

Graduate Update

One thing that sets Heroes of the Nation apart is our desire to support our children through their higher education. After graduation from high school, we help our students get into a college, university, or vocational training.

We are committed to supporting our children until they are financially able to provide for themselves.

This year has been a successful oen for our graduates! One of our students, Kelvin, is enrolled in Kenyatta University, one of the best schools in Kenya. He and fellow HTN classmates are working hard in pursuing their dreams. Over the summer, Kelvin taught chemistry and math in an internship program.

Peter is also attending Kenyatta University and is pursuing a law degree. He had the opportunity to intern with a law office over the summer. His friend Michael is studying business finance and interned with a bank over the summer.

Patricia and Millicent have graduated from their teacher programs and are now instructing pre-school children. One of our other graduates, Josephine, is currently studying accounting.

These are just some of our graduates who have been equipped with practical vocational training skills. They will accomplish great things in their life through your support! Thank you fore believing in these graduates – with your help, they WILL become Kenya’s next leaders.

New Girl’s Dorm Complete: 24 young children welcomed to the HTN campus!
23% of operating costs raised through HTN businesses.
Medical Clinic Complete and Serving the Community!
2 Graduates Studying in Australia on scholarship.
16 new High School Graduates…qualified and ready for higher education.
Two Greenhouses Complete and Two more on the way. (These Greenhouses provide carrots, cabbage, kale and tomatoes for HTN kids and the surrounding community).
6 New Staff Houses Built.
New School Textbooks Purchased for the Primary School.
